To check which of the application are ready to update,
1. Open the App Store app
2. Tap Updates in the bottom right corner
3. The screen will display the application with available updates.
4. Tap Update to install the new version of the app.
You can also turn on Automatic Updates by,
1. Open the Settings 
2. Select iTunes & App Store
3. At the Automatic Downloads section, turn on the Updates by move the Updates Slider to On/Green.
