Before you begin, 

In many cases, make sure you have download and install the latest updates for Windows. To find out how, click HERE. 
 

• Restart your Surface.
  Restart (don't shut down) your Surface. Select the Start button, then select Power > Restart. 
   
• Detach and Reattach your Surface Type Cover. 

1. Unplug your Surface and Detach the Cover. 
2. Clean your Screen and Type keyboard with a microfiber cloth for fingerprint.
3. Reattach the Cover. Making sure that all the magnet touch the bottom edge of your Surface.
